A law practice with more than twenty-five years of experience devoted to family law
About Mr. Marcus...
Mr. Marcus has been practicing family law exclusively since 1993. He obtained his law degree from UCLA School of Law, where he participated in the Moot Court Honors Program. He was an extern for the late senior Federal United States District Judge, Hon. Harry L. Hupp.
Upon graduation, for three years he practiced civil litigation and family law at the downtown Los Angeles office of the preeminent law firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP. This "big firm" training and experience established a foundation to provide thorough and excellence in legal representation.
Mr. Marcus then focused his law career exclusively on family law. He practiced at two of Los Angeles' most well regarded family law firms before forming his own law practice. He has represented clients ranging the entire gamut, including high net worth individuals, salaried employees, executives, celebrities, and self-employed business owners, to name a few.
He has published articles concerning family law matters in various publications, including being a past regular contributor to the Los Angeles Daily Journal.
Mr. Marcus appreciates the importance of giving back to the community. His legal services have been recognized by the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law for services he rendered without any fee to low-income persons. He mediates cases pending in the Los Angeles Superior Court as a Daily Settlement Officer.
His legal services have been recognized by United States Department of State for representing clients in international child abduction cases involving The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. His work resulted in the return of children wrongfully abducted from their home country.
